Plays With Fire
Henry's Character - Native American Brave
“Plays with Fire”
“Plays,” as his non-native friends call him, is a follower of the Old Ways, but only because
he believes it’s the right thing to do. In truth, he’s fascinated by steaming locomotives, clanking machinery, and rotating guns that spit metal storms of death. Plays’ shaman gave him this new name and asked him to journey out into the white man’s world. He know that Plays’ curiosity would only be satisfied if he saw the danger of technology first-hand. Often given to drinking and scalping.
Mi-go Electric Rifle
A lumpy 5 foot long rod of black metal with strange bumps all over it.
Category: weapon (ranged)
Description: This weird weapon is a lumpy rod of black metal with strange bumps, much like warts, all over it. It draws power from the user’s own bioelectric field to fire bluish bolts of electricity.
Rate of Fire: 1
Malfunction: This weapon will not malfunction when used by a Mi-go. However, the gun is so alien that if used by a human and the Shooting roll results in snake eyes, the gun explodes, causing 3d10 damage to everything in a Medium Burst Template. If the Shooting roll results in a 1 or 2, the gun’s electrical charge is dispersed locally instead of fired, requiring a Vigor roll from the user to avoid being Shaken by the electrical jolt. Harrowed cannot use the electric gun since their bodies do not generate the bioelectricity required to power it.
Information: This weapon was brought from another dimension by a strange fungus-like life form. These aliens attempted to take over New Jerusalem, CO. Plays With Fire, the Indian Brave, has one of these weapons.
